Today is a sad, yet happy day for me. I have sold my digital equipment and this marks the end of Digital Life for the foreseeable future. I've not yet decided if I'll pick up a prosumer digital for snapshots or not. Right now, I'm leaning towards not.
After many weeks of frustration and burnout I've done a lot of thinking. Photography has become more work than pleasure. As I've said in the past few weeks, I've been burnt out and lost my eye. To get myself back, I want to focus on the fun, and right now thats film. I will still be updating my film blog daily, and now that I'm shooting one medium, the image quality should increase (hopefully..hehe). I plan on focusing on my true love, street photography and the study of people. I've got some great ideas that I've put on hold, but now the gear is sold, the ideas are flowing. Its really like I've cut the chains holding me down. Odd, but true.
Bottom line...I'm not going anywhere, just adjusting my own focus. I'm going to bring back the fun in photography and my blog. I want to get back into writing the fun stories along with my posts. I want to connect with the people who read my ramblings and view my snapshots. I want to put a smile on your face, and make you think twice about life.
I just want to give a big thank you to everyone who has followed my work here and I hope to see you on the other side :)
